With COVID-19 at the forefront of our thoughts, we cautiously headed into 2021, hopeful of a better year. Well, it was a year…but was it a better year than 2020? Not really. The pandemic has dominated our lives since day one. We’ve all had to adapt to a ‘new normal’, although what that looks like is different for every person. But seriously, it’s been another tumultuous year for the aged care sector and Erigo have been pivoting as needed, supporting our clients to achieve higher quality outcomes for their consumers. Again, we worked on the Remote and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Aged Care Service Development Assistance Panel (SDAP), having been on the panel since 2017. We have proudly supported clients interstate whilst working remotely when unable to fly, and flying whenever the borders re-opened, sometimes with very limited notice. We’ve been to Central West Queensland, Arnhem land, NSW and of course Victoria. Our team has worked extremely hard this year to be able to deliver exceptional service, in a changing environment, and their incredible efforts are greatly appreciated.
2022 is our year to prosper and discover new ways to have a greater quality of life and support our ageing community. Where so much has changed in the past 2 years, some change for the better, we predict that 2022 is our year to settle into a post-pandemic COVID normal. We welcome 2022 and from our hard working, passionate team to yours, here’s wishing you the best for the Festive Season, happiness, health, success, and prosperity.
Looking forward to seeing you in person!
